Easter Blessings

I like to give the carers that look after my MIL an Easter basket of goodies and a card or bookmark.

This is this year's collection ... bookmarks for the personal carers, cards for the nursing staff.

I used the olive bush stamp to make patterned paper, and used it to die cut the leaves and flowers.

Here's and idea of how the Olive Bush stamp looks like.

Spring Flowers

Time for some lovely spring flowers ...

I stamped an coloured a whole card front. I thought I would die cut part of it, but then decided I had to keep it all together, but with a popped up frame.

Watercolour Flower

A watercolour look CAS card ...

I actually extended the Alexandra Renke rectangle frame die by only cutting it ¾ of the way, then moving it further and cutting the other side.

Warmest Wishes

I had die cut the circle of mounted washi tape to use on this card, but then it was too much for that one.  So more leftovers!

So another quick card to use it up.

Christmas Trees

My first Black Friday purchases arrived yesterday ... so had to use them, else I will have to wait for next Christmas.

Some lovely shimmer on the white tree with Nuvo glitter gloss and Glossy Accents on the hearts, and white enamel accents on the green trees.

Mono printing with stencils

I wanted to try my hand at the mono printing with stencils.

Here's my first try ...

Thought there was not enough ink, so made sure it was heavily inked for the second try ...

Still a bit blotchy, so I wondered how it would turn out if I inked with Versamark before inking with the distress inks. Third try ....

Well that was surprising. I had thought the ink would stick to the stencil more evenly, but it went to the edges. But I love the light feel of it.  There are still a lot of ink on the stencil so I got a fourth card ...

This last one is the one I used for my card.

Monochrome Flowers

Some very soft blues and silver for a Sympathy card. The dies are coloured with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire - I love the different colours that come out of Distress Inks. Who would have thought this soft blue would come out of the deep blue of Chipped Sapphire?!

Splash Watercoloring

I spotted this Splash Watercoloring challenge over at CAS Watercolour

I had a couple of small pieces of the Altenew Washi tape left from my last card, and it needs a little background to help fill the card. Add a dash of script and the lovely light dies from Alexandre Renke, and top it off with a sentiment from Altenew.

Switching sides for the second card ... and the darker flowers get darker liquid pearls.

I will also enter this to Altenew July Inspiration Challenge.
