O so light

Front door Christmas tree! All my mother's idea. Got Jacaranda branches from the garden and spray painted white - and added dashes of diamond stickles here and there. Then hung white, silver and gold ornaments. I loved how this turned out.

I'd rather be stamping

I really should be sorting out the kids room which is still full of boxes from the big renovation (one year ago), but I'd rather be stamping . . . or making Christmas present. So instead I find myself surfing and enjoying other people's ideas. Getting rid of procrastination is going to have to top the resolutions list for next year! Luckily that's only next year.

Finally found out how to get colour on dark card . . . stamp with white ink and then chalk it. Here's my first creation. A card that has a pull out tag with a fold at the end so that I can put a gift of money in. Not the best photo but was in a rush as I had to give the card last night.

the countdown continues . . . .

I had planned on posting each day with the ATC of the day, but the days are running by. So I'll put in a few to catch up. Plus I had such fun making this acetate card just had to include it too. Made it for someone special and for the Hero Arts challenge last week.

Had a glorious day at Belle Mare today . . . a swim in the sea, a little sun, a quick bout in the hammam, restored by plunge in icy water and a sushi lunch to top if off. Life is tough in the tropics!

Some more days. These are the size of ATC's (for those not into stamping and scrapbooking, that's and Artist Trading Card)

First 10 Days

Here are the first couple of days of the Advent Calendar. Will try to get no 1. up too. All this is new to me. Had such fun creating it. Did it for someone special, but now I want one for myself too. May have to make it for next year.

Advent Calendar

Christmas is coming and I'm counting the days, so I made an Advent Calendar. I'm slow on posting to the blog, so will have to do some catching up.

Each day has an activity printed on the back.
