Wonderful Washi 2

This time I'm using bits from my left over stash. I found the already cut washi tape, plus the acrylic painted stripes. I added the new (to me) painted grid washi and golden washi.

I'm on a washi roll! Some of it I've had for a while, but it still hasn't been used! Had to remedy that situation.

I used the Trellis Cover die to create the texture, and I mixed fussy cut washi leaves with the die cut leaves.

Cream, Kraft & Cranberry Christmas 2

For my second card, I wanted to use embossing paste on kraft card. I paired it with my NBUS poinsettia die from Altenew ... just arrived yesterday!

I mixed some Antique Linen into my Altenew embossing paste to make it cream.

I added a touch of shimmer to the red centre.

Cream, Kraft & Cranberry Christmas 1

My first take for the Color Throwdown colours of cream, kraft & cranberry ...

I remembered that Hero Arts had this lovely White Satin Pearl that actually comes out cream. Thought I'd pair it with one of my golden oldie favourites ... the Starburst Lace.

Here's the lovely pearl shimmer of the embossing powder.

Creating from Scraps ...

I don't know about you, but I have packets and boxes of bits and pieces that are leftovers from previous cards and projects. 

These were left over from these cards and plant labels ... in January!

This came together so quickly - just had to stamp the lovely squiggle frame (a very old Club Scrap stamp) and a sentiment, then popped up the flowers and pots on double sided tape.
