As I loved the last Seize the Sketch challenge, I had to make a second card. I paired it with the inspiration from The Card Concept. I went with the Clean & Simple style.

Sending Peace
It's Seize the Sketch's last Challenge and I can't miss this one. Thank you Lesley and the Sketchers for all your inspiration ... wishing you all the best in your future plans. I love this sketch.
I will be making more than one, but this is my first card. Using these stamps from We R Memories for the first time, but the sentiment is from PTI. The splatters are made with Wink of Stella.

More Inspiration
The other card and technique that I was wanting to CASE was Dawn's from WPlus 9. But I have so so SO many stamps, that I had to use what I have in my HUGE stash. My favourite butterfly is the Hero Arts one from Antique Flowers and Butterflies, so I decided to use that.
Here you can see the 2 different sets :
I loved doing this one too, and I definitely be making more of these, or using the same technique on other stamps. A great way to stretch your stamps to have a completely different look.

I will enter this in the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.
Watercolouring
I don't know about you, but sometimes a spot something in the blog world or on pinterest that stays in my mind - that I really want to CASE. And sometimes it takes me a while to get my act together, but I get there eventually. So this is my "Hero Arts" take on Jennifer McGuire's card. This stamp set, Night and Day Flowers, is one that I chose when I won in Spring Sketch Challenge. This is the first chance I've had to play with it - and I so loved doing this.
I used my basic Guitar watercolours, and added white Perfect Pearls to the petals, and gold Perfect Pearls to the leaves. I know that everyone is talking (and using) of the Peerless and Gansai Tambi Watercolour sets, but I think my everyday ones worked out ok. It is my first card using the Ranger watercolour paper, and it is really good. Much better than anything else I've tried. The colours run well, and it didn't buckle at all despite the amount of water I used.
These colours happen to match the Color Throwdown Challenge, (and are one of my favourite colour combos) so I will enter it there.

Stamp-A-Faire Timer 4
More of the Papertrey Ink and their Stamp-A-Faire weekend and the Timer Challenge. They provided 5 colour schemes and 5 sketches. You pick one of each and see what you can come up with in 20 minutes. They were all so lovely I wanted to do them all!
I think this last attempt turned out to be my favourite even though it is completely not my go to colours.
The background text is actually a Hero Arts stamp, but the die is PTI. I used Washi tape and diecut the word, and added 3 Enamel dots. I drew around the diecut in black pen to make it pop.
I added Clear Wink of Stella on the washi tape. I was wondering if it would stick - and it does, but you need to leave it to dry properly.
Then with the negative cut, I made this one. I mounted the washi die cut strip on dark grey cardstock, then filled the letters with glossy accents.
I am also entering this to Pretty Pink Posh Cutting Edge Blog Hop Challenge. The die (Wonderful Words : Birthday die) was obviously from Papertrey Ink.
Stamp-A-Faire Timer 3

With my third card I stayed with the same sketch as my second attempt, but went with a challenging colour scheme (well, for me anyway - anything with orange!)
Again I was working with the inks I had on hand. I only used the 3 colours (Hero Arts Lime Green, Butter Bar & Fresh Peach) but I stretch the colours by doing double inking. To get the 5 colours of leaves I stamped :
Leaf 1 - Fresh Green only
Leaf 2 - Inked up with Butter Bar then dabbed on Fresh Green before stamping
Leaf 3 - Butter Bar only
Leaf 4 - Butter Bar then Fresh Peach
Leaf 5 - Fresh Peach only

My second attempt I went with this sketch.
And paired it with this colour scheme.
I don't have any of the PTI inks, so this was the closest match in my stash.
I will also enter this in the Color Me Subtle Challenge.
Stamp-A-Faire Timer 1
Papertrey Ink was hosting their Stamp-A-Faire weekend and started off with a Timer Challenge. They provided 5 colour schemes and 5 sketches. You pick one of each and see what you can come up with in 20 minutes. They were all so lovely I wanted to do them all!
My first Choice was of course the blues and turquoises!
Paired with this sketch.
I don't have a lot of PTI as I've just started buying their stamps and dies, so the greatest challenge was making cards with what I have. Here is the first one ... I decided that I had made the design too close to the top so I chopped off the bottom to make a square card instead.
And then with the left overs I made another smaller one.

Late night Scrambles
I wasn't planning on playing the Hero Arts Flickr Group Card Scramble 91 last night as it was starting at 12:20am my time ... but I thought I'd have a quick peek before going to bed. And I got hooked! Cat had this wonderful inspiration photo.
Love the colour combo! And the patterns.
So here are my 2 takes. The first was a small 3.5" x 3.5" card.

The second one a bit larger at 5" x 5".
I got them in a little passed the deadline as my computer went into "rainbow ball spinning" mode. So frustrating!
When I looked this morning, I thought it needed a little something so I added Black enamel accents to the centre of the larger flowers, and pen dots to the tiny ones.

Rainbow Butterflies
I was playing with the PTI Life is Beautiful stamp set this morning (borrowed from my friend, Bronwyn).
I was inspired by the picture that Laura Bassen posted for the CASE Study 4th Anniversary Blog hop (but I missed that deadline!).
I will be entering this for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Summer".
