Calming Bouquet
Shades of pink with the contrast of black and I immediately thought of the Calming Bouquet washi tape.

Rainbow Colours
I can't resist rainbow colours ... and this time I'm pairing them with the crisply graphic leaves from Uniko (Natures Treasures II) and the bold butterfly from Ellen Hutson (in the Up the Happy set).
I used the MFT Stitched Interactive Window Trio die to make my own stencil (I had to cut the part that would have been the hinge). I love the way the colour has gone through the stitches too.

Artist Flower
At one stage brown was quite "in" ... brown & pink, brown & turquoise ...
And it's back again.
Playing with my NBUS die Artist Flower No3. I was originally going to go very CAS and use plain colours, but I think the pink I used was too intense (see the second card - which is the first one I made).

Color Hues : Sage & Coral
I am happy to be a guest designer at the Color Hues Challenge this week.

I have so many new supplies I think my brain might fry! I should not be allowed any new products for a year. So I had so use my NBUS supplies : SSS Etched Magnolia dies and the leaves from Etched Meadow flower. Love the dimension you get with this flower.

Christmas Tree Wishes
Beautiful Christmas tree of words from Papertrey Ink!
This is the final card ... after trying 9 different backgrounds! Just love this embossing folder ... All Star Burst from Simon Says Stamp.
Here are the 9 different backgrounds I was trying ... started with vellum - but thought it got a bit lost on it, the red die cut stars - too dark!, gold die cut stars - too similar to the tree ... and on it went.

Book Club Christmas
We had our book club Christmas dinner this week. The colour theme this year was blue and white.
A friend gifted me the Papertrey Ink Storybook Christmas which was perfect timing. I changed up one of the book titles for each person's name so I could use them as Place Names.
