Christmas Wishes

Some ideas just take hold, and I loved the inspiration photo at The Card Concept.

It has lovely dimension.

The green cardstock I used has a lovely festive shimmer.

Floral Wishes

I'm trying to use up the bits left over from other cards. So I've had this floral happy sitting on my desk (left over from this card) for a while and thought it was so pretty it had to end up on a card.

I think I might have overdone the florals, but trying to get my mojo going was like wading through mud!

Watercolour Wishes

Using the ink and spritz technique to create a watercolour effect ... and I added some extra touches afterwards too. I used Delicata Gold refill ink to paint the star and baubles.

It's difficult to catch both the light on the gold embossed sentiment and the baubles on a slimline card.

Look at the wonderful shine of the Delicata gold!

Merry & Bright

Some traditional colours for Christmas ... for merry & bright wishes.

The sentiment is embossed in Gold and I added touches of gold liquid pearls.

Wonderful Washi 3

I just love how this card turned out ... simple, lots of white space, yet with enough details to give interest.  Simply die cuts and a few spots of enamel accents.

Birthday Blooms

Sometimes you have a plan in your head about how you're going to make a card, but then it goes in a different direction.

I wanted to have flowers popped up, with a word die cut of of the flowers, but doubly popped up. But that didn't work too well ... the worlds just disappeared despite being lifted with kraft coloured foam.

So I thought I would try to offset them against the kraft ... not that much better!

So back to basics, and just use the kraft!

Wonderful Washi 2

This time I'm using bits from my left over stash. I found the already cut washi tape, plus the acrylic painted stripes. I added the new (to me) painted grid washi and golden washi.
