Sweet Friend

Combining supplies from different craft companies ... to get that idea in my head on to the card!

This little bird from Hero Arts is golden oldie ... but I'll always keep it as it's a firm favourite.

Framed Florals

I've had this card front stamped and sitting in my "to do" box for simply ages. Do you have a pile of unfinished cards? I seriously need to tackle mine.

Since I was watching the Laver Cup tennis this weekend, I needed to have something to do while watching all that exciting tennis. So took out a few of my un-coloured stamped images with my Zig Clean Color pens.

This is the first one finally done.

I used green foam to pop up the frame, and love how the colour peeks on the sides.

But then I decided it needed a little something ... so added some gold liquid pearls to the centres of a few flowers.

Floral Prayer

I came across this prayer by Ignatius Loyola and wanted to send it to my mother-in-law. She suffers from both Parkinson's and Osteoporosis, and so much of her freedom and independence has been taken from her. Although she can hardly talk, I can still see the love shine in her eyes.

I used Zig Clean Colour Brush marker to ink up the Altenew Wildflower Garden set.

CASology #234 : Youth

It's been a long time since I've used a digital stamp, but we were sent such a sweet ladybird by the Kitty Bee Designs for the CASology Youth Challenge this week, that I had to try it again. The advantage of digital designs is that you can make them whatever size you want.

Adding a touch of stencil gives some texture without overpowering the card.

Merry Christmas

I wanted to use some embossing powder (Platinum) and do some watercoloring.

I will enter this to ...

... and Inkspirational : Use 5 or more stamps : I used 7 stamps!
