Soft Wishes
I'm lucky to be guest designing at JUGS this month. It's time for a new challenge and it's a colour challenge this week.

Leaf Canopy Collage #2
Here is my second card with the smaller leaf canopy that was left over from THIS card.
As the leaf was smaller, there was more room for the bigger acetate butterfly.

Leaf Canopy Collage #1
Sometimes cards don't go the way you had planned ... they seem to have a life of their own.
I started with wanting a CAS card with the leaf canopy. I played with the idea of having a pink strip, and the confetti below, but I got stuck! Asked myself all sorts of questions :
Do you ever second guess yourself too?
- Need to bring in the pink somewhere else. With what? Where?
- Where do I put the sentiment?
- Is it enough? Or too bare?
Do you ever second guess yourself too?
So then I splattered the background - having covered the leaves with their die cuts to protect them. But I didn't like it. So I die cut them out.
Played around with other die cuts and stamps ... and instead of having 2 leaf canopy stamps, I only used one.
Come back tomorrow for the second card.

Eucalyptus leaves
I was so inspired by the Alexandra Renke soft eucalyptus leaves paper, I wanted to see what I could do with my supplies.
You can never get the exact same result with this technique. I was trying with varying amounts of ink.
The leaf canopy set from Altenew is a good start. I started with the solid stamp with an ink and spritz technique using Antique Linen and Faded Jeans. Then I used the outline stamp in brown.
