It's your Birthday ... Woohoo!

I could not resist pairing these 2 sets together when I was asked for fun cards. It is the first time I'm using the Surprise Gift set.

I put a little arrow tab so that the recipient will know to pull up the lid of the gift.

Lockdown Greetings

We're now on day 43 of strict lockdown - out of the red zone, but still pretty much blocked at home except for our 2 shopping days a week. I'm getting tired of this second round, so needed something with a bit a humour. 

I do give myself a little talking to now and again to remind me that I have so much to be thankful for, and we're not nearly in as bad situation as those who've lived through wars or those stuck in refugee camps.

So here's a hello from lockdown!

Fun Girlfriends

I had a request for fun Birthday cards and my first thought was the Art Impressions Girlfriends!

Then I got this idea in my head that I wanted them peeping out beyond the circle. So that meant some serious fussy cutting.

I love adding paper piecing to this kind of image.  It gives that extra dimension and texture to the colouring.

Best Friend's Birthday!

When it's one of your best friend's Birthday, you need to make a special card.

The Flaunt It set was the perfect choice. In order to keep it CAS, I decided to use part of image. There are actually 3 ladies in the stamp.

To make it special, I used Jennifer McGuire's Interlocking Gatefold card design.

Added some glossy accents to the glasses and lips.
