Loved the Kusudama ball on Annabelle Stamps Blog. When I saw it I just had to make one, and just below the photo, instructions started with the first fold. I rushed off to get a square of paper and immediately started following the instructions (without reading to the end first!). I got to the end of folding the first sheet, and it said that made ONE petal.
And you need 5 petals to make one flower.
And you need 12 flowers to make the ball.
So I only had 59 to go!! I just laughed at myself because I had used a 6"x6" square, and that meant I would need 15 sheets of 12"x12" paper. So my one petal sat on my table for a couple of weeks ... but I couldn't resist it ... so I just started folding, and here it is!
Made with Fabscaps and Magenta papers and Hero Arts dots.

Christmas Bauble
I've always wanted to try one of these . . . and I had some Fabscraps left overs from my Christmas zigzag book so a perfect opportunity. But having finished one (the smaller one) I decided it needed a larger one, so had to break out more paper . . . lucky I still had some one hand.
Thought beads were a sparkly alternative to bows.

Inspired by Tacha
I just loved Tacha's sketch and examples at Scrap RDV. We have Mother's Day tomorrow, and my MIL is now a great-grandmother. Nothing is so special as I baby, so I made a mini album of her first grandchild (now nearly 2 months) as a gift. I found these delightful "ribbons" of baby clothes at my local hobby store. Couldn't resist them!
And the inside . . .
Each of the tags is a mini booklet with 4 photos. Here is the first page of each one.
Congratulations Heidi!
and welcome Abigail!
Kathy at The Daily Marker blog is having a baby shower blog hop to welcome little Abigail.
Here's my card (inspired by Tacha's sketch at Scrap RDV - I love her examples too!)

4" Book & 90 minute scramble
Made this 4" book using the Bind-it-all and the absolutely beautiful Fabscraps papers. I've been dying to get my hands on this set.
Fabscraps is a South African company that has a great paper range amongst the many products they offer. They have just been to their first CHA, where they won an award. Congrats to the Fabscrap team!
The cover was made in layers . . . cardstock, pp, acetate stamped with Staz-On mounted with foam dots to give depth, flower and title also mounted with foam dots.
And some of the inside pages too . . .
And while I was trying to finish this, I realised that the Hero Arts Flickr group 90 minute scramble challenge was running at the same time. Had to make a 2 or more fold Birthday card. I only read the instructions with 30 minutes to go. So CAS this time. Punched border stamped with the antique flower background stamp.
