Ink and spritz is one of my favourite techniques. Love how it gives the watercolour effect.

A pretty CAS card front ...

But a lovely pop up scene inside ...

My entry for CAS Mix Up Challenge : Ink with Markers. Inked with distress markers.

Sweet dress

It's Tuesday ... and time for a new CASology Challenge. This week's cue word is dress

I have a few offcuts of fabric from a top I've just had made. I love the small pattern and thought it would be perfect for the skirt of a dress on a card. I'll be sending this off to my niece, who loves blues as much as I do!

One Layer Floral

Inspired by Jennifer McGuire's one layer frame card. I added some shading to the outer edge to give the illusion of depth. I decided to use Prismacolour crayons for colouring. The dots are flattened Enamel Accents - I quite like the effect.

Is it Achoo, achoum or atishoo? What do you say when you sneeze? I'm an "Atishoo" person.

It's time for a new CASology Challenge. We are back to a weekly challenge and the cue word is HEAL.

Tissue boxes come in such pretty patterns these days.

Pop on over to the Design Team and see their wonderful creations.

Floral Prayer

I came across this prayer by Ignatius Loyola and wanted to send it to my mother-in-law. She suffers from both Parkinson's and Osteoporosis, and so much of her freedom and independence has been taken from her. Although she can hardly talk, I can still see the love shine in her eyes.

I used Zig Clean Colour Brush marker to ink up the Altenew Wildflower Garden set.

Beautiful You

I was so taken by Anita's inspiration at Muse Challenge this week.

I have followed her ...

Flippin' Awesome

There is another week for the CASology Challenge : FLIP.

For my first card, I did flipping through pages, but for a different take on the cue word, I'm now flipping tails! And to add a twist, I went for a fancy fold that gives a feel of flipping too.

I stamped the tail in green, but embossed with sapphire jewel embossing powder to give wonderful shimmer. Added diamond stickles to the water splashes.

There is still time to join in the fun.

Rolling Hugs

Who wouldn't like to receive some hugs in your lunchbox?!

And how about some rolling bears?

Stamps and stencils

Another month flies by ... and it's time to reveal the card I sent Jeanne for the August CCC Challenge.  I followed the colours, sketch and product options.

I also made a matching envelope.

You can see the other cards that went winging their way across the globe HERE. And if you would like to make and receive a card, why not join in the September CCC challenge?
