Imagine the Blessings

So many stamps ... so little time. So when I see a challenge that is ideal for one of my favourite stamps, especially if it has been in my stash for a while, it makes me happy to get it out of storage and inked.

I used my Distress Markers to ink the stamp, gave it a spritz of water and stamped.

Since there was quite a lot of ink left on the stamp after the first card, I decided to re-spritz and do another.  I think I may prefer the lighter shades. What do you think?

My entry for ...

... AAA Cards Challenge : Imagine.  You certainly have to imagine leaves turning into birds!

... CAS Mix Up Challenge : Ink with Markers

  1. I couldn't pick a favourite Janet. They are both GORGEOUS! The image is amazing and the colours you've used are very uplifting. Isn't it great when you can get an easy twofer with just adding a spritz of water for the second print??!! :) Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour!

  5. Fabulous colours and what a great effect with using the makers to colour the stamps. I just love how you've used greens for the tree and then when the birds start to fly away they become blues, purples etc. I personally like the stronger colours of the first card but with the sentiment you've used I think the second lighter colours work best with it. Beautiful card and beautiful addition to the gallery at The CAS Mix Up....Thank you x.

  8. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL cards Janet!! I love both the darker and the lighter colors, but maybe leaning a little bit towards the lighter one just because the sentiment fits so well with it, but both are just lovely! Thanks so much for sharing these beauties with us at CAS Watercolour!! :0)
