Beach Birthday

I unpacked my new Stampin' Up set ... Friends are like Seashells. I was inspired by Narelle's card amongst the other challenges.

Wisteria Hello

Love the challenge at AAA Cards ... a one inch strip! A great opportunity to use smaller stamps. More NBUS ... the Mini Starry Flowers & Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.

I stamped the flowers, then masked them. Distress around them. The flowers were coloured with Copics and I added little black doodle dots.

I added white enamel dots to the flower centres.

Here is a comparison of the Mini Starry Flowers to the orginal size.

Outlines and solids!

The next pair in my rainbow die cut series are these two using the green to violet range of colours with The Stamp Market Botanical Beauty die.

First the inlays in colour in a white outline with a striped background die.

The diagonal stripe die is from Simon Says Stamp, called Air Vent, but I think it's not longer for sale. But there is a very similar one from Memory Box called Diagonal.

The second uses the coloured outline on a inked embossed background.

Birthday Spring colours

Here are my next set from my zoom class examples ... spring colours! Just one end of the rainbow.

This time I used the lovely Botanical Beauty die from The Stamp Market. Such a lovely flow to this leaf.

Rainbow Wishes

I gave a zoom class to my group of regular stampers since we are stuck in lockdown. It was quite fun as some were in the UK. I tend to go to my stamps and ink way more than my dies, so I was doing cards using die cuts.

First I distressed some cardstock in rainbow colours. I had planned for more pastel colours, but in the end, I over-distressed and I had bright colours. For these 2 cards, I only used the bottom section of the wide panel.

I die cut once in the rainbow cardstock, and once in white.

I drew a rectangle around the card in pencil, using a ruler to get it straight. Then I went over it by hand with a black pen. Shaded with Copics. I just LOVE these sentiments from the Greetery set Birthday Blooms.

I kept the rainbow outline very simple.

I added Tonic Nuvo Glitter Gloss to the leaves and enamel accents to match the colours.

More cards are coming! I ended up with 12 cards!

Spring & Easter Bunnies

I have a ton of unfinished cards and bits and pieces on my craft table, but I got this idea in my head and it would not let go!

It is the first time I'm using this row of bunnies. I gave them a touch of colour and details with copics.

When getting out my die cuts, I spotted theses bunnies too.
