Wedding Wishes

Elegant wedding card by keeping it to one tone with Platinum embossing. Just a touch of colour with Copic.

Trying to capture the embossing.

Christmas Cheer ... and mixing up Stamp Sets

To get the mojo going, I was CASe-ing Elena Roussakis's card, but I changed up a few things :

  • I mixed images from 2 stamps sets
  • I did not make it a shaker card
  • I matted it on a lime card (love how it makes it pop)
  • Added Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to certain spots

I stamped up 3 sets of images, so decided to play with some of the extras.

Sometimes you need to mix up your stamp sets to get just the right card :

  • Ellen Hutson Holiday Characters (NBUS)
  • Ellen Hutson Bear Ware 5 (NBUS)
  • Ellen Hutson Abstract Nature
  • Ellen Hutson Organic Elements
  • MFT Gift Tag Greetings  (NBUS)

Cozy Time

CASology Challenge is coming to an end. Melissa has given us 10 wonderful years of inspiration and fun. All good things come to an end, but wish her all the success in her future plans.

It was where I discovered my love of CAS designs and so I could not miss playing in the last challenge.

I masked the books to keep it a one layer card.

Hello Sunshine

Playing with new supplies ... again!

Created a sweet scene in a frame with the cute stamps.

Coloured with Copics. This is a one layer card - I added grey shadow to make it look like it has dimension.

Added Glossy Accents to some of the images.

Welcome Precious Twins

When I saw spotted this amazing shutter card by Ptit Ange over on Mes P'tit Ciseaux, I knew I had to make one.

Here is my take for my friend's daughter who has just had the sweetest twin boys. I used my NBUS Stampin' Up Sweet Baby set.

Here it is in action …

Everything's Beachy! Take 2

This is my second take with the Everything's Beachy set. (See first take HERE)

I wondered what it would look like from the beach looking towards the sea. Changed up the colours a little too.

What do you think? Do they both work?

Ink & Spritz 2

This time I'm mixing the ink and spritz background with my new Stampin' Up flowers (Flowers of Friendship) coloured with Copics. I used Distress Oxides (Twisted Citron & Tumbled Glass) on the background paint splatter stamps.
