Framed Bouquet

Another card for the Altenew April Inspiration Challenge.  I took inspiration from the frame and the colours. This time I used Copics for colouring.

I added some Nuvo Glitter Gloss to add some shimmer.

Pastels

It's my third week as Just Us Girls guest designer.  This week's a colour challenge : Pastels.

I spotted a pastel coloured frame amongst my leftovers which I had painted with Distress Inks.  I cut it up to make the lines. I stamped the smallest flower from Pinkfresh Studio Fleur 1 on watercolour paper and painted to match the section of the line where I was going to place it.

The sentiments are the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words. Aren't they so sweet?!

He's my other card from my stamped patterned paper (see HERE).

I used half of one of the frames to create the idea of a wreath.

I added red foam to both pop it up and give that extra detail.

It may be in Christmas colours but it's not done using Christmas stamps. These flowers made me thing of Christmas berries. I was going to stamp a small panel down one side of the card, but once I got inking I thought I might as well finish the whole card front. I inked up with Distress markers and spritzed.

I die cut white and black letters and offset them to create a shadow. Some dripping stickles give a frosty Christmas shimmer.

And of course I get a bonus card from the die cut ... come back tomorrow to see it.
