Congrats Grad!

My son is graduating from University this year! I wanted to make a really classy masculine grad card.

The arrival of the gold string washi tape and Essential Rock Collection Paper pad from Altenew was fortuitous. I die cut the letters from the washi tape; and embossed the paper.

I used Copics C1, C3 & C5 to colour the cap and certificate.

He's my other card from my stamped patterned paper (see HERE).

I used half of one of the frames to create the idea of a wreath.

I added red foam to both pop it up and give that extra detail.

It may be in Christmas colours but it's not done using Christmas stamps. These flowers made me thing of Christmas berries. I was going to stamp a small panel down one side of the card, but once I got inking I thought I might as well finish the whole card front. I inked up with Distress markers and spritzed.

I die cut white and black letters and offset them to create a shadow. Some dripping stickles give a frosty Christmas shimmer.

And of course I get a bonus card from the die cut ... come back tomorrow to see it.
