I started with two sheets of background created by the cling wrap technique.
I used the first one as the background to the multi-feather die cut front. Die cut the words and added glossy accents.
The second piece, I die cut 3 feathers, and stamped with a script stamp.
I will also enter these to the ...

... CAS Watercolour Challenge : Birthday
These are gorgeous Janet. I really love the text overlaid on the feathers too. Stunning!
ReplyDeletetwo wonderful cards Janet - love the colors in your cling wrap background
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful piece of cling wrap background, Janet! Love these colors and I love what you have done with them! Both cards are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour!
ReplyDeleteI have to look for a tutorial on the cling wrap technique; it is gorgeous and what an inspired way to use it showing through the die cuts. The technique is equally beautiful when die cut and overstamped. Both cards are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards, Janet! Especially love the trio of feathers with the text! Beautiful piece created with the cling wrap!!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Janet! Will the "real" Twofer please stand up! You are too young to remember seeing To Tell The Truth on TV when you were little like I did. I used to love guessing who was the real one! Anyway, I'm so pleased to see you back in the gallery with these two luscious feather designs! The colors on your cling wrap background are really stunning and my favorites and, boy, did they work well with the feathers! I love how you overstamped the text on the feathers on your birthday card and that's a great doodled frame stamp, too! Thank you!! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Janet, both of them! The colours and sense of texture on the cling wrap background give the feathers great depth on your first card ... and the trio of crisp, CAS feathers with the scripty overstamping really pops against all that glorious white, they're fabulous! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
