Floral Wishes

I'm trying to use up the bits left over from other cards. So I've had this floral happy sitting on my desk (left over from this card) for a while and thought it was so pretty it had to end up on a card.

I think I might have overdone the florals, but trying to get my mojo going was like wading through mud!

Birthday Blooms

Sometimes you have a plan in your head about how you're going to make a card, but then it goes in a different direction.

I wanted to have flowers popped up, with a word die cut of of the flowers, but doubly popped up. But that didn't work too well ... the worlds just disappeared despite being lifted with kraft coloured foam.

So I thought I would try to offset them against the kraft ... not that much better!

So back to basics, and just use the kraft!

Floral Happy #2

Here is my second card from the Ditsy Print Background. (See the first one HERE).

I created a soft background using the Kind Confetti set. The floral die cut sentiment is popped up and offset on black.

Floral Happy #1

Getting 2 cards out of one background is always a bonus.

Stamped up the background with the Ditsy Print and coloured with Copics.  Die cut the bold alphabet word 3 times : on the pattern background, on white and on black. I coloured the white one with Copics and stamped with Rustic Linen, then layered it offset on the black. Added a white gel pen line on top to give it a look of more dimension.

Come back tomorrow for the second card.
