Magenta ATC's

I joined in on the Magenta ATC swap with the theme of "Colors that makes me happy".

For my first, I played with some Gelatos to create the background.

My second ended up very different to what I had planned as I dropped my Salty Ocean ink pad! So a generous spritz of water mixed with white perfect pearls gave it a lovely shimmer (unfortunately I couldn't catch it on the camera - when I can see the shimmer through the camera, it can't cope and doesn't focus. Got to learn how to do the manual focus!) ... and hid the mess.

I used watercolouring and a distressed background with some lovely Magenta paper on my third.

For my last one, I used one of my favourite Magenta sentiment stamps. I dabbed Salty Ocean on my craft sheet, spritzed with Perfect pearls and smidged my tag in it.

I sent mine to Alida in the Netherlands. And she sent me these with wonderful colourful backgrounds created with alcohol inks.

Easter Basket

I loved the inspiration picture over on the Fusion Challenge.

Such pretty, soft, beautiful roses. Opened up my new WPlus9 Freshcut Florals stamp set to use the tiny flowers that would go with the sweet basket die that I was given as a gift with one of my orders. I had first thought, "I'll never use that", but it's just perfect for an Easter Basket. I thought the basket is a pretty good match for the sketch too.

I used gelatos as my paint - it has a lovely shimmer as I mixed in the metallic purple with the lilac and blue. I added glossy accents to the flower centres and the little dots I had made with a Copic marker.

I made that tiny bow with just the 2 inner prongs of a fork!

25th Wedding Anniversary

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary! What an amazing milestone ... so many wonderful memories, and so many more to come.

This is my card for my husband.

I knew I wanted 25 hearts falling into the 25, in an ombre look to symbolise the passing of time. I created the ombre colours using my gelatos and there is a lovley shimmer. I die cut this on my silhouette cameo.

I'm entering this into the Die cut challenge at Addicted to CAS
