25th Wedding Anniversary

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary! What an amazing milestone ... so many wonderful memories, and so many more to come.

This is my card for my husband.

I knew I wanted 25 hearts falling into the 25, in an ombre look to symbolise the passing of time. I created the ombre colours using my gelatos and there is a lovley shimmer. I die cut this on my silhouette cameo.

I'm entering this into the Die cut challenge at Addicted to CAS

  18. Did you create this on the cameo or is it something we can purchase?? This is perfect for the card I'm trying to make for my Aunt right now. There's is 38 years, but I'd love to use the same concept. I LOVE this card!! You did a great job!!

    1. I made it up on the Silhouette, using a couple of different shaped hearts and rotating them here and there.

  19. Completely loved this 25th wedding anniversary card. I am very happy to find these details. I also would be marrying soon at the domestic garden themed Los Angeles wedding venues. I too have made a huge card and DIY scrapbook to gift to my partner.

  20. I tried making something similar to this in Cricut Design Space and it wouldn't let me slice that many times. It would bog down and then not work properly. I tried created it in Inkscape but couldn't get the hearts to slice out of the rectangle! It looks so nice I really was hoping to create something similar!

    1. I was using silhouette, but if you ignore the rectangle bit (you can always use a trimmer when finished). Just try cutting the hearts and numbers.
