I've got quite a few new stamp sets, and I wanted to break out the Garden Friends from Penny Black. Isn't this little peeping hedgehog just the cutest?!
Using embossing folders are a great way to add texture but preserve the white space.
Come and check on the creations of the design team and be inspired. Looking forward to seeing your take on the cue word.
What a darling design, Janet! Your little hedgie peeking out from the posies could NOT be cuter, and I like the indented circle (for lack of a better description) die you incorporated, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design and that little hedgehog is so cute. Clever cut out nad embossing for a stunning CAS card!
ReplyDeleteOh Janet what a fabulous design. I agree with you about embossing folders and you have used your one here to perfection. Love this cute little hedgie popping up-a really fun card. Thanks for being 'playful' with us at Time Out.
ReplyDeleteI love this card! How did you get the blue edge? Was it a die cut? If so, could you tell me where you got it?
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yes it is the Simon Says Stamp Circle on a Line die cut.
DeleteWhat embossing folder was this. It's beautiful.
DeleteIt's the Square Grid from Alexandra Renke ... see HERE
DeleteSweet card, Janet! Love the little hedgehog peeking out from the cutout!
ReplyDeleteJanet... thank so much for the invite to GD this week... I had a lot of fun checking out everyone's creations. Also for all your support over the years... you are amazing. All the best, Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteI love this card - so many things about it are just wonderful: the sweet little hedgehog peeking out, the embossed texture on the die cut panel, the greeting... all so perfect! And you have totally inspired me to dig out my circle on a line die (buried somewhere in my stash!) :) Thanks so much for playing along with our playful challenge at Time Out! Jill
