Pastel Rainbow Blossom ... and the Negative

I've had some questions on how I made the Rainbow Blossom, so I made another one and took photos of the steps.

Step 1 : Paint a background. This time I used Distress Inks instead of watercolours to paint the background.

Step 2 : Die cut the painted background plus a plain white card stock. The card stock had stayed in the die cut, and I put a piece of sticky back paper which kept all the pieces in place.

Step 3 : Glue the die cut white card stock to your card.

Step 4 : Glue the painted pieces into the corresponding places on the card.

Step 5 : Add a sentiment and button embellishment. This time I die cut some "buttons", doubled them up and added glossy accents to make them more realistic.

You can also use the negative die cut to make another card.
