New Cover

I was still walking around with my Christmas iphone cover - way overdue for a change.

Instead of going with washi tape this time, I decided to play with the new Hero Arts stencil that Cat Craig sent me with her CCC card. (Thank you!)
Wanted a heart because I had my 25th wedding anniversary early January.
Always need a touch of turquoise because the rubber edge is turquoise - and saw that Dynamic Duos were going with Teal & Red this challenge - so have gone with those 2 colours.

I used Peacock Feather and Salty Ocean distress inks on the stencil. Gave it a spritz of blue perfect pearls. It has a lovely shimmer.

A close-up shot to get an idea of the shimmer.

In the cover ...

I will also enter it in Simon Says Work it Wednesday "New" theme as I used my new stencil and new heart punch.

  1. Yea! I am so glad you have been able to get that stencil inky and glad it made it through the post! Your cover is so much fun. Does it have a clear background that you place the artwork under? Such a cool idea.

  2. This is fantastic. Love the heart and sentiment. Thanks for joining us at the Dynamic Duos.

  3. your cover is absolutely way too cool!

  4. Janet, so fun...I am sure you get a happy smile every time you see your phone! Great use of the colors at the DD this week. Thanks for sharing at the Dynamic Duos this week!

  5. This is really fabulous, Janet! I love all the shimmer and the double heart...great sentiment, too!
