My Anita Jeram stamps arrived! Yay!
I was trying to make a card for my adult daughter who was to be celebrating her birthday under lockdown - for the second time - so wanted something cheerful. But ever had a card run away from you, and it was not what you planned at all?
I wanted to use the ray stencil to bring sunshine and warmth so that's where I started. Then I like the frame idea. Thought I'd add some grass & the 2 little bunnies.
So it ended up being more for a child.
I added some black doodle lines to my grass stencil.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card for anyone at any age! Janet, You have really done a great job with this adorable new set! I can see why you made the purchase! Thanks for playing with us at Just Us Girls this week.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I agree with Nancy. I think young or old would love your card...it's gorgeous! Since there's no chance of me getting this fabulous card, I'll be pinning it! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is as cute as can be no matter old your daughter is. I love the sunshine behind them!! I'm waiting for my order from CCC and they will be here next week. Can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteYour design is WONDERFUL! I love how the balloon 'becomes' the Sun and the little enchanting onlookers are captivated by that wonderful balloon! I love Jeram's stamp sets and this is one of my favorites...you made it even more 'my favorite'! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteYour design is gorgeous, Janet, and definitely not only for a child. It has so many lovely details and the colouring is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Janet, the scene you've created is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI hope your daughter has / had a lovely birthday xx
ADORABLE!!!!!! Love everything about it!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. I’ve been looking for a sunshine stencil. May I ask which one this is? It works perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It is The Crafter's Workshop Sunburst. I bought mine at Simon Says Stamp in Feb 2020, but when looked now, it's not on their site. If you search for sun stencil there are quite a lot of different ones.
DeleteIt's THIS ONE.
DeleteIt’s super cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your inspiration using this stamp for dimensional card instead of flat watercolor. Soooooooo pretty
