Love, Joy & Peace Dove

My new Penny Black supplies arrived this week. I ordered both the dove die and the stamp set which has the same lovely artistic dove. So I have made 3 cards following the same basic layout ... one with the stamp, one with the die, and one with the negative of the die.

First with the stamp ... embossed in white ...

then the die with some Frosted Lace Stickles ...

and lastly, the negative of the die. I changed to watercolour, and decided that it was better without the magical background ...

Which one do you prefer?

My entry for ...

... CAS Colours & Sketches #200 Challenge (Congratulations on their 4th Birthday and wonderful milestone!)

... Addicted to CAS : Ombre Challenge

  1. I dont think I can pick a favourite, each is as beautiful as the next. They all have features that make them unique, sorry I would have to sit on the fence with this one and say all three equally.

  2. Your inking on all of these cards is stunning Janet!

  3. Gorgeous trio of dove cards, Janet - my fave is the one with the die!

  4. Such a pretty card! Just perfect for our challenge. Thanks for sharing at ATCAS!

  5. I don't know if I could choose a favorite, because they are all truly stunning, Janet! I love how you used different elements for each card, and your ombre background on the first one is perfect for our code word! So glad you played along with us this week at Addicted to CAS!

  6. Beautiful cards! I love the way the background fades along with the focal panel in the first card; and the perfect use of negative space for the last card! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!

  7. WOW. All three cards are terrific in their own way! The backgrounds are fabulous. Thanks so much for sharing them in our birthday celebration at CC&S! :) I hope you'll join us again soon for another challenge.

  8. Wonderful trio, beautiful ink blending, CAS perfection design and simply stunning. Thanks so much for joining in on the celebration at CC&S. Hugs Bev x
