I wanted a really soft card for my husband's aunt. It is really difficult to lose a child, even if the "child" is 60 years old. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to her.
So sorry for your loss! This card is so beautiful and I am sure that your aunt will appreciate your thoughfulness at this time of sorrow...thanks for sharing with us at Just Us Girls- hugs!
So sad to lose a child, but his is such a comforting card. I love the soft sponging around the embossed layer and that pretty rose. Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!
This single pink rose is just beautiful as is your whole card! Love the pink edging next to the embossed panel. It adds just the right amount of color. So sorry for her loss and yours as well. Thanks for joining us this week at Just Us Girls!
I'm sure this was a difficult loss for your family...60 is too young, and no one should out-live their children. This is such a gorgeous card, Janet! The single pink rose is stunning, and looks amazing against the embossed panel! I also love how you blended your pink ink on both sides of your focal point...it's so elegant! I'm sure your husband's aunt is going to appreciate all the love you put into this card, too!
Wow, this is such a stunning card. Love the sentiment and the inky goodness behind the center panel. Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!
