Book Club Christmas

We had our book club Christmas dinner this week. The colour theme this year was blue and white.

A friend gifted me the Papertrey Ink Storybook Christmas which was perfect timing. I changed up one of the book titles for each person's name so I could use them as Place Names.

Quite a mission ... to get 13 place names, I stamped and die cut 117 pieces, then glued them all together. But it was worth it!

Serendipitously I had blue place name holders in shape of a bauble.

Here's the table decorations.

  1. Oh my gosh ... these trees are so adorable Janet. I LOVE that you've made them into place cards. Very special take-away for each of your guests! Your table looks AMAZING. What a special event you've put on. xx

  2. I LOVE this and you put so much time and effort into making all the place cards - 117 pieces - they have NO idea, I'm sure of the time and effort it took to make these gorgeous cards. I LOVE the colors too - it worked out perfectly.

So glad you could join us this month at Die Cut Divas for some die cutting and Winter or Christmas themed cards.

  3. Bravo, Janet! You are an incredible artist AND hostess! Your placecards (and holders) are fabulous and the whole tablescape is filled with Christmassy blue and white beauty! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Have a wonderful holiday and I'll see you in the new year! Hugs, Darnell

  4. You are to be commended-what a wonderful tablescape! Just gorgeous! Thanks for joining us at Die Cut Divas!

  5. Gorgeous! What a great table decoration, and the entire setting looks wonderful. Thank you for joining us at NBUS

  6. These are amazing and how thoughtful of you to personalise them. As a book lover I would have been overjoyed at this.

  7. Wow! What a beautiful table and super name place settings. You have been a busy bee indeed and I am sure all your guests really appreciated it. Happy Christmas to you and yours xx
