I just love the layers that Shari created on Day 3 of the Holiday Card Workshop.

This time I decided to turn the design sideways.

Love how the circle gives the feeling of an ornament. Here's a close-up of the layers.

Message Bursts

Therese gives us the inspiration for this week's Muse Challenge

Love these Hero Arts Message Bursts. I cut out the centers so that I could stamp in two colours. Makes them so versatile.

I have mounted the frame and centre square on foam dots, but glued the blue matting directly to the card so there is quite a bit of dimension. Added Frosted Lace Stickles to the Merry sentiment. This is the first card I've done using the new Hero Arts Silver Ink. Lovely - but got to be careful to let it dry.

Oh Christmas Tree

For the Just Us Girls Background of Words Challenge

And the CAS-ology Triangle Challenge

Using the new Hero Arts Christmas words embossing folder, fold-back card with a triangle window.

Here you can see how the tree can turn within the window

And the inside

Beads & 3D Baubles

Inspired by both Jennifer's fold and Stephanie's suspended snowflakes from the Holiday Card Workshop.

It's quite difficult to get a good photo to show the 3D of the baubles. Each is made of 4 circles, folded in half and glued back to back. I diecut circles on the fold so that the baubles would fit in the windows. The last hole has real beads.
