Spring Flowers

Time for some lovely spring flowers ...

I stamped an coloured a whole card front. I thought I would die cut part of it, but then decided I had to keep it all together, but with a popped up frame.

Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday

I hope it's getting warmer in your part of the world and that spring has truly arrived.

Time for happy fresh spring colours. I die cut 6 "happy"s and distress inked 3 of them. The other 3 I used to pop up each coloured one. I found washi tape to match, and punched out circles and popped them up on the diagonal background.

These colours make me happy ... and I think it makes a good masculine card too!

Oceans of Love

It's time for a new challenge at CASology, and we bring you the cue word of OCEAN. This is a TWO WEEK challenge, so you have until 1 April to submit your card.

My mother signs her letters and cards "Oceans of love", so I had to use that as my inspiration.

It's not that easy to see, but three of the hearts are popped up, and I applied glossy accents just to those 3.

I created my own digi sentiment, and you're welcome to copy it if you wish.

Come and see the OCEAN creations of the design team. Looking forward to seeing your take on the cue word.

Watercolour Flower

A watercolour look CAS card ...

I actually extended the Alexandra Renke rectangle frame die by only cutting it ¾ of the way, then moving it further and cutting the other side.

Funky Circles remix

I had left the stamps from Funky Circles on my Misti, so I thought, why not stamp another and mix up the colours.  I wanted to go for a masculine look this time, so used grey, turquoise, orange and navy and certainly no sequins, but used glossy accents instead.

Wish you were here

It's time for a new challenge at CASology. The cue word this week is EARTH.

I love my little spot on earth, I just wish that some of my loved ones could be here too!

One way of making a stamp smaller, it cutting a window and focusing on the part you want. Helps in keeping a card CAS too.

I added glossy accents to make the map pointer pop.

Visit the design team and see their creations of earth. Looking forward to seeing your take on the cue word.

Bright Birthday Wishes

I had some leftover distress inks on my craft mat, and took out some bits and pieces from my stash to use it up.  One piece was the Uniko Background Wonky Stripes.

I then drew lines around it with a ruler and doodled dots to make a frame.

Love, love, love this NBUS Memorybox Happy die!

... CAS Mix Up Challenge : Stainglass  I hope this is ok. I think I should have put glossy accents on the colours to make it more like glass.
