Rainbow blossom

I came across this rainbow chrysanthemum yesterday and thought it was photoshopped, but it looks like you can buy the seeds!

You know me, I can't resist a rainbow. So I used this as inspiration for the CASology challenge : FIT. I found a die to give me petals. I die cut one painted (with watercolour) piece of card stock, and one white. Then it was like doing a puzzle, just fit them in piece by piece.

Bold Flower

I'm going from soft (on my last post) to BOLD with this one. I was not sure about putting the black in the petals, but they were lying there left over from another card (you'll have to wait a couple of days to see that one!) I thought it makes the colours pop and goes with the wonderful abstract dashes. What do you think?

Soft flower

A special soft card for my friend who likes soft, romantic roses.

I was inspired by the colours of these roses ...

Pun Fun

It's time to have some fun with puns over at the CASology Challenge this week. At first I battled to come up with an idea using stamps from my stash ... I know there are lots of new stamp sets using puns, but they would take too long to arrive!

I found one very old wood stamp with a pun ... just too sweet ...

But then I thought I should use a more recent stamp. I combined the thyme from the Hero Arts set with the party sentiment from Casual Fridays Stamps. A splash of green and sequins to add a festive feel. And I'll be giving this to my friend, Rosemary!

Teal flowers and iPhone cover

I have finally got round for making an insert for the cover for my new iPhone. I like to buy the transparent covers so that I can create and change the look (I bought THIS turquoise corner one, and THIS blue border one).

I cut white card stock on the silhouette ... and cut a few extra so they are ready for the next time I feel like a change.

I'm in the mood for teal, freshness and flowers, and playing with the Watercolour Wonders of Altenew with Distress inks.

I thought this could be an entry to the teal challenge at Addicted to CAS, but thought it might not be acceptable as it was not a card.  So had to make a card too!

Together

It's time for our new CASology challenge ... and the cue word is TOGETHER. A wedding card is perfect for this ... good wishes for a couple as they start their life together.

So hard to capture the gold paper I used to trim the panel. Looks so much better in real life.

Ombre Butterfly flight

So happy with the cue word at CASology Challenge this week - it's Butterfly! And I love butterflies. A bit of a challenge in deciding which butterfly I would use from my stash of stamps and dies ... so many choices.

To keep things CAS, I decided to go with a monochrome colour theme, and took out a sheet of the wonderful ombre paper of Echo Park.
