Hero Arts Scramble

Playing in the Hero Arts card scramble. It was run by Linda and the theme was embossing .... embossing powder, folders, faux embossing.

The first I stamped and embossed in white on kraft. Cut a square, add a ribbon and sentiment & voila.

The second, I embossed lime and turquoise with the medallion embossing folder. Added a raspberry velvet brad to match the raspberry stamped text background.

The third, I stamped and embossed in white. Used distress stains to colour.
I didn't take my watch into my studio ... and so missed the deadline. Live and learn!

CASing Ardyth

I was looking at the other entries on OLW130, and saw Ardyth's amazing entry (see her cards on her blog Maskerade). I basically CASEd it exactly with the closest matching stamps, but I used brads. The first is with velvet brads - wonderful texture.

The second was with a metallic brad - not silver, a matt look. A good masculine feel. But I wonder if I'll be brave enough to give this to someone.

Serenity, Courage & Wisdom

I love this sentiment .... so had to play on the OLW130 Centered Sentiment challenge. The stamp below it are water ripples. I thought is would give the sense of peace, serenity and tranquility.

OLW 129 - All in a Row

Just in time with the OLW All in a Row challenge. I was inspired by Maille Belles who gave this tip for keeping tags in one layer . . . poke holes to thread the twine.

The tag stamps are from Lili of the Valley.

I'll also enter it into the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.

It's Lili of the Valley's 9th Birthday! Let's celebrate!

Using their lovely pp, some washi tape tabs, their sweet tag sentiments and some red string. Will try to get a better photo showing the 3D mounting but got to go!
I'm back .... with another shot.

Twinchie Series 9

So so hot here! So a little reminder ...

Shades of blue are continuing today - it IS my favourite colour! You'll start to see the same scraps coming through. . . the inked & embossed Hero Arts swirl background and  the ombre Hero Arts lattice background. A little border punch and some more liquid pearl dots! Makes me think of water.
