Hero Arts 45th Anniversary - Card 1 - Buds

When I took the photo of my early Hero Arts stamps, it made me want to ink them up again.  So I'll be using some "golden oldie" stamps but in new ways.

Here is my CAS, one-layer card ... using masking techniques and Copics for colouring, with some doodled dots ...


 ... but then I messed it up when I turned it over and there was wet ink on my Media Mat!

Ooops!


So I time for take 2! 
I trimmed off the strip with the splotch, and added a thin silver strip.


Here are the supplies I used ... I have re-organised my word stamps in categories so that they are easier to find.

  4. WOW ! This is fabulous, Janet ! Those buds are beautiful and I love how they are falling down from the top of the card. Your grey "demarcation" is just so well done that I first sight I thought it was the edge of the card top flap. What a beautiful way to add dimension on a OLC ! And you even made a stunning recovery with this second card. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.

  6. I love this card - ooops and all. Love the way you placed and colored those buds. I'm with Izzy on the fabulousness of that gray line. I also love those wonderful dots between the buds. Your fix it card looks fabuloous too. Nice save! Thanks for playing with us at Less Is More.
