Flower Shadows

Altenew have another lovely inspiration challenge this month.

When I first looked at it, I thought I would use the Cattleya set, but I wanted something smaller and so went with the Golden Garden set. Works so well with the inspiration photo.

The steps I followed :
  • Stamp "shadows" on front panel using the thicker stamps in Silver Stone ink
  • Emboss the panel with the woodgrain embossing folder
  • Die cut and stamp the layering flowers and leaves
  • Pop up the flowers and glue it all together

  6. This is absolutely stunning Janet!! Love how you used the colours from the Altenew challenge and those shadows totally make this card. And that embossed background is what makes me want to try dry embossing more. I bet you a million dollars this wins the Altenew Challenge and I'm so glad you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge too!
