Easter ...

I wanted to make a special Easter card for my Mother and Mother-in-love this year, so I browsed Pinterest for some inspiration. There are so many beautiful cards out there, but this one by Kay Miller struck a cord with me.



I cut my crosses in Silhouette and used the More Fresh Cuts from WPlus9 for my flowers. The rays in background are Hero Arts Starburst Background.

I made 2 with the crosses having opposite colours as the top and offset. The first one I started by shading my background with HA Soft Sky, but my sponge had some turquoise residue so the colour was not true.


I made sure I had a clean sponge for the second card.


I split the Art Impressions sentiment by masking the bits I didn't want to stamp, so I had the beginning of the message on the front, and the rest inside.

  4. What a beautiful job and well done CASEing Kay's card. I'm sure she would be quite chuffed if she saw this. I especially love the starburst effect, the colouring is gorgeous. So glad you shared this with us this week at ATSM. Happy Easter!
