Classic Silver

We had our book club Christmas dinner this week. I made 12 Christmas cards and needed to gift wrap my "Secret Santa" present. Our table decoration was going to be silver and white, so I went with that.

I die cut the ornament, then embossed with Hero Arts swirl folder. The sentiment is Kaisercraft, stamped in Hero Arts Silver. I added stickles to the heart, and May Arts sparkly white thread.

I will enter this to the Paper Players Black Tie Challenge (Holiday Projects that are Fancy) and the CASology Silver Challenge.

I kept with the same theme for the gift, but added a touch of blue  ... Blue stickles and ribbon.

I'm entering this to the Hero Arts Deck the Halls Challenge.

Christmas Card Exchange

I joined in the Christmas Card Exchange over on the Merry Christmas - Handmade Card group on Flickr.

This is the card I sent to the 5 others in my group ...

I embossed the circles with white and drew lines with a Versamark pen and embossed those in white too. I inked up the solid circles with Distress inks and spritzed with water before stamping. So each card turned out a bit different as the inks spread in their own artsy ways. I also added splatters of the same colours and sequins to match.
