I had a most beautiful day at the sea without a cloud in sight, which inspired this card.

I love the sea. I love shells. I love blue. And peace can be found at the shore.
So I can see I may do more than one entry for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC66:  Create a project featuring something you might see in or at the ocean.

Sand was done by dots using a Memento marker.

A tea caddy for the LOTV challenge to make anything but a card.

I took the photo before the glossy accents on the title had time to dry.

Neon Christmas

For the Play Date Cafe challenge :

This was my third set of colouring this sweet Lily of the Valley stamp. Sentiment by Hero Arts. I knew the challenge was neon, but in my mind it was red, pink and orange.

Hero Arts August Sketch Challenge :

White side panels are raised on foam.

Background stamped and embossed in white. Coloured with distress inks (Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive and Scattered straw). The stamp and matching die cut were perfect for the sentiment. Love the texture of the HA flowers. With a touch of bling.

Blue and green are my go to colours, so I had to play in the Less is More blue & green colour challenge. 


And then I saw the WPlus9 sketch challenge :

And it all came together.

Scramble Two

Made a second card for the Hero Arts scramble. 

On this one, I used parts of 3 sentiments to make a new one. Also goes with the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

Scramble One

Played in the Hero Arts Flickr group scramble tonight . . . Emily gave us a great challenge to mix up sentiments to make new ones, to use part of a sentiment or to make our own. 


It will also go with the CAS-ual Friday Challenge of On Cloud 9.

I've decided that I don't really like it. Not CAS enough. Would have been better without the magical background. I may try to do another.
